Mail, calendar and todos in one place.

Sameplace is a local-first app for your email, calendar and todo list. It keeps them on your device and connected to each other, so a todo remembers the email it came from and a meeting has its thread attached.

The demo runs in your browser with sample data. No account needed.

In one place

Stop copying emails into your todo list.

Mail, calendar and todos share one workspace. Make a todo from an email and it stays attached. Link anything to anything, and jump between them with a key.

Mail → Todo

Emails become todos, and never lose the thread.

Make a todo from any email and it stays attached. In the demo, press T and simulated AI finds the asks for you.

Todo

Every todo knows where it came from.

Invoices, flights and replies each link back to the email that asked. Hover to peek.

Anything ↔ anything

Link it all with ⌘\

Connect any email, todo or event to any other, then jump between them with one key.

Calendar

Meetings arrive with their homework.

Linked emails and prep todos sit on the event. Hover or open it to see them without leaving your week.

Local-first

On your device, so it’s quick.

Your workspace is stored on your computer. Search answers as you type, reading works offline, and changes you make offline go out when you’re back.

AI Paid plan

AI when you want it, marked in purple.

The paid plan adds AI: todos suggested from an email, thread summaries and reply drafts. AI actions and everything they produce are marked in purple, so you can always tell them apart from your own work. You choose what to keep.

A request comes in. Simulated AI suggests the next steps.

Questions

Which email accounts work?

Gmail only, for now. Sameplace connects to your existing Google account and uses Google Calendar for your events.

What does local-first mean here?

Your mail, calendar and todos are stored on your device, so reading and searching don’t wait on a server and keep working offline. Sending mail, syncing with Gmail and AI features need a connection. The local-first guide explains what goes where.

What is in the paid plan?

The AI features: suggested todos from an email, thread summaries and reply drafts, all marked in purple. We haven’t announced pricing yet.

Can I keep using Gmail?

Yes. Your mail stays in Gmail and your events in Google Calendar. Stopping Sameplace deletes nothing there. Your Sameplace todos and links live on your device, so keep a backup.

What can I do in the demo?

Everything the app does, with fictional data that stays in your browser. Nothing is sent, AI results are simulated, and Reset demo starts the story again.

Do reminders work while the app is closed?

No. Reminders and scheduled sends run on the device where you set them, while Sameplace is open. If it was closed or offline, they run late.
